When GDI Director Redmond Boyle ordered an Ion Cannon strike against Nod’s Temple Prime in Sarajevo, few could have predicted the catastrophic outcome that would emerge as a result. The liquid Tiberium disaster that devastated Eastern Europe ended up attracting an alien race known as the Scrin. As it turned out, it was the Scrin that sent the original Tiberium meteor to Earth.
