A collection of space colonies located at Lagrange point 5, the PLANT colonies became home for the growing population of genetically engineered humans known as Coordinators, who had fled Earth to escape persecution and anti-Coordinator racism. The growing conflict between Coordinators and Naturals that dominated much of the Cosmic Era would eventually become intertwined with the growing conflict between the PLANT colonies and the world’s super states that would form the Earth Alliance.
