In the post-Zeon Wars era, the Earth Federation’s Strategic Naval Research Institute began developing miniature mobile suits under the Formula program, putting itself in direct competition with Anaheim Electronics. The SNRI’s rivalry with Anaheim for supremacy in the military industrial complex would coincide with the escalating conflicts of the Age of the Warring Space States.
