After the end of the First Zeon War, the Federation continued to develop new mobile suits under the Gundam Development Project. One of them was a prototype known as the RX-78GP01 Gundam Zephyranthes, used by Federation pilot Kou Uraki in the pursuit of the Delaz Fleet.
