Detroit police officer Alex Murphy was brutally murdered by a gang of criminals led by crime boss Clarence Boddicker. However, death was not quite the end.
Omni Consumer Products took Murphy’s corpse and rebuilt him into a cyborg enforcer known as RoboCop. Dubbed the future of law enforcement, RoboCop would not only fight urban crime across Detroit but also find himself opposing an enemy more insidious than the most vile crime bosses: the corrupt executives in charge of OCP.
