The man known as Darth Maul first emerged during the Naboo Crisis when he attacked Queen Amidala and her party. This incident caused the Jedi to realize their ancient enemies, the Sith, had returned.
It was thought that Obi-Wan Kenobi slew Maul near the end of the Battle for Naboo, but even then, the Jedi knew there were always two Sith Lords: a supreme master and his apprentice. The question was: Was Maul the master or the apprentice?
Years later, Maul returned from the dead, bent on revenge on Kenobi and seeking to create his own power base that would take advantage of the chaos created by the Clone Wars….
