In December UC 0079, the Earth Federation launched a major space offensive against the Zeon colonies known as Operation Cemballo. The operation would culminate in the Battle of Solomon on Dec 24, UC 0079, with the Federation unleashing its mobile suit forces against Solomon, Zeon’s space fortress.
